3D perception Appoints New Staff,
Increases Experience and Capabilities

Asker, Norway - October 14, 2009. 3D perception today announced the appointment of three new positions at both their Orlando and Norwegian offices. Tom Steidel joined the company’s senior management staff in February, serving as Chief Operations Officer. Tom is based in the Asker, Norway headquarters office, and is focused on developing and progressing ideal working processes and quality assurance. Tom has extensive leadership experience and a broad base of technical knowledge in R&D, design, support, and operational experience in all elements of the value chain for industrial companies. Tom comes to 3D perception having previously served as VP of Supply Chain, VP of Product Management, Technical Director, and Sales and Marketing Manager in technology-oriented companies including Kitron ASA and Tomra Systems ASA. tom.s@3d-perception.com

Steve Schaber joined the company in July, serving as Senior Program Manager for the Simulation Business Unit. Operating out of the Orlando office, Steve is focused on managing and executing successful project deliveries, vendor management, and engineering support, worldwide. Steve brings with him over 30 years of knowledge and experience as a senior systems engineer and program manager in the simulation and training market, serving with companies such as Alion Science & Technology, Cubic, AAI Corp., and ECC Corp. sschaber@3dpamericas.com

Adam McCard joined the company in September, serving as Marketing Strategist for the Simulation Business Unit. Based in the Orlando office, Adam is focused on advancing strategic goals through public relations and communications, partner and customer outreach, event coordination, market research, and business development.
